My name is Miss Robin Hearts.
I am your current  Miss Wva's Queer News 2007.
 
Originally from the Parkersburg area, I now live in Morgantown.  I work at Vice Versa as an entertainer and have been their regular shot girl for the past three years. I have been performing for four years. In addition to my career as a female illusionist, I also volunteer and lend energy to Caritas House, a non-profit agency located in Morgantown, that caters to 25 counties and helps individuals suffering from HIV/AIDS.
 
I love to entertain and my favorite artist to perform to is, hands down, Pink. However, I try to keep my music choices varied and love to try new things. Over the past, without them I wouldn't be who I am today. Many are the readers and writers of West Virginia Queer News, as well as James Yoast, Montez, and the staff and patrons of Vice Versa. David Keener, Gina Jordan, Miss Amanda Love, and every other entertainer I've had the privilege to perform with. They have all made my career a very educational and fulfilling one so far. I look forward to the future. I'd also like to take the time to thank my wonderful husband Adam Ferguson for his support and dealing with me on those days that I can, admittedly, be a little hard to handle. Much thanks to all of you. I look forward to the next year with all of you as your Miss WV Queer News 2007 and beyond... 
Patsy Plastic
 
The world was introduced to a phenomenal talent on November 10th, 2007. She has became one of West Virginia's most prolific entertainers in her hometown of Morgantown. Who is this, Diva, we speak of. It is none other than the talented Ms Patsy Plastic.
 
She continues to bring to the Morgantown area, the best in female illusion. She will soon be traveling to Club Splash in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She also performs in Pittsburgh and Uniontown but calls Vice Versa "home."
 
She got her real start and potentially became a hit from Vice Versa's Baby Shower events.
 
Patsy says, "I want to change the world, one sequine at a time." She also said she wants people to remember her, she will never sit on the sidelines and watch her life pass by and when everything is going wrong, she remembers only one thing - JUST DANCE!

Hi my name is Lady R'Maunie, and you can call me a dancing queen. I have been performing drag for a total of 4 year and because of a limited amount of time between school and work, I try to perform at least once every other month.  I love performing on stage and getting down for my crowds.  I am a very high energetic entertainer, who loves to use just about any type of music to get people on their feet.  I am not currently part of a show-cast, but have performed at numerous clubs throughout WV.  I reside in Morgantown WV, home of none other than the Vice Versa Club, and that is where you can find me for the most part when performing. Greetings! Ladies, Gentlemen, and Trannies, alike.  I am Sahara Lee B. Morgan-Saans, your current reigning Miss Vice Versa 2006.  I have been doing my drag-thang for about 3 years now, and in that time I have learned so much from every performer I have worked with or seen perform.  I consider this to be theatre, and we're all just a bunch of make-up artists pretending to be actresses. 

    Early in my career, I was crowned Vice Versa's Miss Trailer Trash 2004, and I sure have come a long way since then.  I cherish every memory I've made along the way: the highs, the lows, the bright lights and the shade.  It's all made me part of who I am.  You can reach me at advertising@viceversaclub.com

Veronica B. Morgan
 
Veronica B. Morgan, daughter of porn star Montaz Morgan and James K. Yost--both owners of Vice-Versa Club in Morgantown, WV.

Current titles held-Miss Morgantown Trailer Trash 2007 and Pittsburgh's Lady of Liberty Ave. 2007.

Veronica performs regularly around WV and Pa.

Her biggest influences have been her sister Sahara Lee B. Morgan Saans, Marsha Mellow , and Veruca B. Deadly--all are dear friends of Veronica's.
Her stage name is Ms. Morize Nite.  She currently resides in Morgantown, WV.
 

She is a queen in training. One that always has to bring joy and excitement to every performance. She feels that she has to push herself harder and harder every time she steps on the stage. She feels that she is always in competition with herself so she strives to make each performance better then the last.

The birth of Ms. Morize took place because of a Ms. Jessica Nite (drag mother) who saw something special in her. Something that she had never even see in herself. After seeing me dance, she said to her "You're great, I like you... Now when are we gonna get you in a dress?" A little hesitant at first but she got her to open up to the experience and now it is something that she loves dearly.

Ms. Morize is not about the drama or the he said she said shit.  She shows everyone no matter who they are love. Give respect, receive respect is her motto. Nov 10th she will appear in the Vice Versa baby shower and hopefully able to do something that will excite the crowd .

The crowd is where the energy comes. From the screams of excitement, to the hard work, I grab the attention of every crowd.

"I would not consider myself a queen yet, but a princess in training."

 Her drag mother is Tayla LaShay.
 
She likes to define her type of drag as camp drag.
She enjoys doing things out of the ordinary.
 
She is a performer at Vice Versa, in Morgantown, WV.

Alexandria Paige
 
Hello. Introducing Alexandria Paige. She is new to the drag scene. She started performing at the Annual Baby Shower at Vice Versa Club in Morgantown, West Virginia this past November. She has been around drag queens and the club scene for about two years now, but just recently started performing herself. She is a drag queen and has no intentions of becoming a real woman. She enjoys the many facets of drag performances, but spends most of her life as a boy (Justin).
 
She was very nervous when she first performed, but she remembers the practices before her premiere in November, she was a total disaster. She knew that she had to gain confidence in herself and really rock it out and that is exactly what she did. She has had many people tell her that she is growing into a great performer. She went from a small town gal to this city diva chick who loves to have fun. She enjoys performing at Vice Versa and loves the audiences. This club has so much to offer a drag queen. She would also like to start performing at other clubs to open up her opportunities. You can catch her perform live at Vice Versa or view her on youtube as herself, but remember live performances are always the best.
 
Her drag mother is the fabulous Nicolette Paige who also resides in the Morgantown area who stepped down in March 2008. She feels now she has some huge “heels” to fill, but people have faith in her and she has to say she has made her drag mother proud. She says she could never have done this without her fabulous Vice Versa staff, drag mother, friends, and her fans. She would like to offer a special thanks to Travis and Jeremy who have helped pick out songs and costume ideas. These boys are her managers and mean so much to her. She loves her fans and without them she would not be performing.
 
Her future is yet to be decided when it comes to drag. She is also a college student at West Virginia University and a house cast queen at Vice Versa and between the two, she is very busy. She plans to enter pageants and work on earning a title. She wants to enter Miss Morgantown Up and Coming 2008 and eventually go out for other titles drag has to offer. She has Myspace and Facebook account and look forward to hearing from current and future fans of the fabulous Miss Alexandra Paige.
